Bar/Bat Mitzvah Games

This is a small sampling of games we can incorporate into your Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration.

Coke & Pepsi
This is often the most requested game for a Bar / Bat Mitzvah.  Participants line up in two lines, opposite each other on the dance floor, typically boys on one side, girls on the other.  When I call Coke, the boys have to get down on one knee while the girls run across to sit on the extended leg.  When I call Pepsi, the girls kneel and the boys must run and sit on their extended leg.  I offer variations throughout the game to keep it interesting.

Musical Chairs Scavenger Hunt
This game starts out with participants seated in chairs on the dance floor.  Items are called out, and the participants must run out into the audience to obtain these items, such as a dollar bill, something with "Tennessee" on it, an ATM receipt.  As each participant goes to retrieve the items, a chair is removed, thus eliminating one of the players.  The fewer number of people, the more difficult the item is to obtain.

Hula-Hoop Links
At least 6-10 people are lined up on each team and given a Hula-Hoop.  With linked hands, you have to pass the hula hoop from one end of the line to the other, without using your hands.

Hula-Hoop Musical Chairs
This is a variation of Hula-Hoop Links in that each team forms a circle.  As the music plays, the hoop makes its way around.  When the music stops, whoever is touching the hoop is eliminated from the game.

Limbo
We'll get all your friends lined up to see how low they can go.

This is just a small sampling of the many games which can be incorporated into your celebration.  When we meet, we'll talk about things you like (movies, music, etc) and come up with some creative ideas to incorporate your likes into your celebration.

Games

Although music is an important part of your party, it is the games which will keep everyone entertained and energize them for dancing.

Pre-Mitzvah Planning

In order to give you the best celebration, we will spend some time getting to know each other. This helps me build a party which reflects your own style, as well as include as many of your friends as possible.
